My focus for this essay will be that performance poetry makes a bigger impact on an audience than print poetry.  I am hoping to prove that performance pieces can reach audiences in a way that print poetry cannot.  I am nervous about the paper and happy that it is only a rough draft because I feel like I am doing the analysis all wrong.  I used my excerpts more to prove a point rather than analyze the words and the way things were said.  So, I'm hoping to get feedback on my paper on how I can improve it and my analysis.  Also, I want to know if it seems like I am proving my focus or if I need more information to help prove my point.
